Wahaso Welcomes Don Barclay As Manager of Engineering and Operations
Hinsdale, IL (PRWEB) July 03, 2014 -- Mr. Barclay will bring a specialized base of knowledge and an impressive array of engineering experience to the table for Wahaso. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the esteemed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, and since then has applied his talents to a variety of businesses and projects related to the design and construction of water treatment systems. “I have been involved in most aspects of water treatment equipment, from initial design and concept detail through start-up and field troubleshooting,” commented Mr. Barclay. These experiences have been bolstered by roles at a number of leading water treatment companies, including Culligan, Waterlink, Rainsoft, and Ellis Corporation.
As Wahaso's Manager of Engineering and Operations, Mr. Barclay will be in charge of the entire process of designing, manufacturing, delivering and installing Wahaso’s state-of-the-art harvesting systems (http://wahaso.com/water_harvesting_methods.php). “We are very fortunate to have Don on our team,” remarked Stuart Bailin, Director of Engineering for Wahaso. “He will strengthen our engineering expertise and our entire delivery process.” Wahaso's team of engineers examines the specific requirements and challenges for each new project before presenting a system design that meets or exceeds these needs. At Wahaso, Mr. Barclay will be integral to not only the design of these unique water harvesting systems, but also to the delivery and installation of each system.
Through the successful design and implementation of hundreds of customized systems since 2008, Wahaso has defined itself as a leader in commercial rainwater and greywater harvesting solutions. Wahaso's systems not only help businesses achieve sustainability and LEED certification (http://wahaso.com/LEED_certification.php), but also save real money in the long run: water and utilities bills diminish as the water that is harvested through Wahaso's systems is recycled for non-potable applications such as toilet flushing and irrigation. With the “green” movement gaining more and more momentum every passing year, an ever-increasing number of businesses are becoming interested in sustainable solutions for the reuse of water. Mr. Barclay's addition to the team supports Wahaso's continuing leadership in this fast-growing market segment.
