BraunAbility welcomed Steve Cooper as the new Production Planning and Fulfillment Manager last month. Cooper is responsible for production planning, assuring the optimal flow of all inbound materials from the company’s supply chain as well as outbound logistics for vehicles and lifts to support our North American and international dealer channels.

Cooper brings extensive experience in the automotive supply chain field. He spent nearly a decade at Chrysler Group LLC supporting various manufacturing operations, managing materials and production scheduling as well as the delivery of products to assembly plants and Chrysler’s retail dealer body. Previous to Chrysler, he was employed by Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), a global leader in dedicated outbound logistics solutions. During his tenure with WWL, Cooper developed and managed innovative truck and rail logistics networks for vehicle manufactures including Subaru, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, assuring the optimal flow of finished vehicles to support the inventory requirements of retail dealerships in North America.

“I have very much enjoyed getting to know the BraunAbility team,” said Cooper. “I am very excited to be a part of this team, not only because of the company’s bright future, but also because of its rich history and tradition.”

About BraunAbility

Founded nearly 50 years ago by Ralph Braun, the company was built on the age-old adage, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” Ralph Braun was a young man who used a wheelchair and had no reliable transportation to and from his place of work. He built his first wheelchair accessible vehicle in 1972, and since then, BraunAbility has grown into the most well-known and trusted brand in the mobility industry, bringing independence to tens of thousands of individuals around the world.
