Melville, NY (PRWEB) July 03, 2014
Long Island IVF is pleased to announce that its first fertility awareness fundraising event, “Dancing for the Family”, will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Dance with Me Long Island Studios in Glen Head, New York. The event is co-hosted by The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation (“Cade Foundation”), a not-for-profit organization that provides education-focused programming and Family-Building Grants for couples suffering from infertility. Long Island IVF is donating an IVF cycle as a door prize to be awarded to one of the attendees of the event.
The exciting event, to be held in the breathtaking home dance studio of Dancing With the Stars™ champion, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, will include music, group dance lessons (private lessons for V.I.P. ticket holders) with Dance With Me Long Island instructors, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, desserts, a silent auction, and a chance to win the IVF cycle door prize.
“We’re excited to partner with Long Island IVF in offering the “Dancing for the Family” event here on Long Island,” said Dr. Camille Hammond, CEO of the Cade Foundation. “All proceeds from this unique and fun event will help fund The Cade Foundation’s education-focused programming and Family Building Grants, offering much needed financial assistance to couples struggling with infertility.”
“The emotional and financial stress of infertility can take an enormous toll on infertile couples. A summer’s night of fun and dancing… of reconnecting with each other… is just what the doctor ordered for all couples, whether infertile or not” said Dr. David Kreiner, Reproductive Endocrinologist and co-founding partner of Long Island IVF, himself a ballroom dance student. “We’ve always enjoyed giving back to the Long Island community. And knowing we can remove that financial obstacle by offering an IVF cycle to one attendee is very gratifying.”
Tickets for the “Dancing for the Family” event cost $65 each (or $100 for V.I.P. tickets) and are limited. They may be purchased online at http://bit.ly/1k9huoG. If you know and would like to help someone who is struggling with infertility and could benefit from the IVF cycle door prize, it is transferrable once (subject to restrictions noted on ticket purchase site). A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible.
