New WinCan VX Awarded Full NASSCO Certification for PACP, LACP and MACP
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 01, 2014 -- New WinCan VX software has been certified by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) to be compliant with PACP, MACP and LACP (the association’s inspection protocols for pipelines, manholes and laterals, respectively). This certification confirms WinCan VX is able to gather inspection data conforming to NASSCO’s observation catalogs, and create data sets and deliverables that are compatible with any other NASSCO-certified technology. The certification was announced by Pipeline Analytics, the exclusive distributer for WinCan VX in North and South America.
“NASSCO is the preeminent standards-setting body in the U.S. for wastewater infrastructure assessment,” said Mike Russin, Business Manager for Pipeline Analytics. “We’re pleased to have them recognize WinCan VX with this comprehensive certification. As software applications like WinCan VX bring new levels of analytical capability to pipeline inspection and asset management, it’s imperative that all infrastructure is assessed to the same standards—NASSCO recognized this need early, and the widespread adoption of NASSCO standards like PACP, MACP and LACP is a testament to their foresight.”
WinCan VX is also available with a validator that can screen all batch-imported data for compliance with NASSCO standards. PACP stands for Pipe Assessment & Certification Program; MACP and LACP similarly address manholes and laterals.
