BHC RHODES Civil Engineering Firm Expands and Relocates Headquarters
Overland Park, KS (PRWEB) July 03, 2014 -- Overland Park-based BHC RHODES civil engineering and surveying firm has announced it will add nearly 60 jobs in 2014 to keep pace with the continued demand for engineering and surveying services. The new jobs consist of engineering, technical and administrative staff with a large portion of the growth specifically to meet the demand in their fiber optic telecommunications system designs.
To accommodate the growth, the firm, represented by Bob Fagan and Matt Eckert of CBRE, launched a relocation search on both sides of the state line in the Kansas City metropolitan area. “After many considerations, we decided to remain on the College Blvd. corridor in Overland Park,” BHC RHODES’ President Kevin Honomichl said. “It continues to create the best setting for us to grow our business, and it is still consistent with our culture, history and desires of employees.”
BHC RHODES credits their growth to a concentrated effort on continual change to adapt and meet the demands of their market. In 2013 BHC RHODES’ corporate headquarters in Overland Park occupied 12,500 SF of their College Blvd. location and during the first quarter of 2014, expanded to 18,000 SF. They are relocating down the street to 7101 Tower in Overland Park and will occupy 20,525 SF.
