Tapxu, the Silicon Valley-based mobile media buying agency, announces today it will sponsor the AppsFresh App Reskinning Tournament.
Organized by AppsFresh Founder Yohann Taieb, the App Reskinning Tournament is the first tournament of its kind to bring together app reskinners from around the world to compete for fun, camaraderie, bragging rights, and lucrative prizes.
“Yohann is widely regarded as one of the leading app development instructors online,” says Tapxu Founder Eder Callejas. “We’re excited to announce that we’re sponsoring his app reskinning tournament.”
App reskinning is fast becoming the quickest, easiest, and most cost-effective way to break into the intensely competitive mobile app market. The AppsFresh tournament, which seeks to encourage this trend, begins on July 1 when AppsFresh will give tournament participants a mystery iOS game source code with graphic packs. Participants will have until July 7 to reskin and publish their new game to Apple’s App Store. The three participants who reach the highest rank in the U.S. App store by July 31 will win first, second and third place prizes respectively.
“We feel it’s important to connect with up-and-coming app developers and this is the perfect opportunity to do so,” says Callejas. “We wish the best of luck to all the developers who are participating in the competition."
