(PRWEB) July 02, 2014 -- With its ongoing mission of leading the event rental industry, Arena Americas is taking safety to new heights with increased safety standards and guidelines for all employees. Arena has developed a comprehensive in-house training program called "Arena Academy" which provides a hands-on setting for team members to learn important safety skills when on the jobsite. Topics include working on top of clearspan structure roofs and operating powered equipment safely.
Arena’s Director of Quality, Safety and Compliance, Ken Keberle, also wrote a comprehensive Safety Orientation Handbook that all employees receive upon hiring. The handbook provides an overview of all safety topics including Personal Protective Equipment, power and hand tools, ladders, material handling, powered equipment and more. It also covers Arena’s standard workplace and job site policies.
According to Ken Keberle, “Our mission is to have an injury free workplace and we are striving to accomplish that by providing our team with the necessary tools, training and guidelines to be safe 100% of the time.”
Arena Americas has been in the US since 1966 and supports a variety of events including some of the most prestigious sporting, corporate and private events in the country including NFL Super Bowl, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, as well as PGA and NASCAR events.
