Greenshine New Energy’s Solar Street Lights Will Light Up Jeddah’s Streets
Irvine, California (PRWEB) July 07, 2014 -- Greenshine New Energy LLC (Greenshine) is delighted to announce that it is one of the principal international companies selected to take part in the pilot program to provide solar street lights in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Fifty-six lights have been manufactured with a unique design. Kevin Laurent from Greenshine New Energy said, “Taking into account the regional climate, we knew we had to move away from our standard lighting design. Two systems were selected for the testing evaluation: one standard system with a single pole and a second system consisting of two poles installed on the same concrete base. For the latter system, two fixtures were installed on the two poles at different heights. The final lights selected have a much taller pole and two supporting poles, in addition to an even brighter LED fixture which complies with their street lighting requirements. The solar panels have also been protected using an advanced self-cleaning nano coating. This will protect and enhance the operational life of the solar panels, while simultaneously reducing the maintenance cost. In addition, the solar lights have been fitted with a green transparent plate to give them a more unique finish.”
