Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. (MEC) today announced that Chad Mitts has joined the firm’s senior leadership team as vice president of strategy, capital and continuous improvement. Mr. Mitts brings nearly 20 years of leadership and manufacturing experience with him.
“I’m pleased to have Chad join our team and bring his tremendous skill set and experience to our company,” said Robert Kamphuis, chairman, president and CEO of MEC. “We have a great deal of momentum with our business and Chad will help us to continue our aggressive growth plan,” Kamphuis continued.
Mr. Mitts most recently served as general manager of Meritor, Inc.’s North American Brake and Driveline business. In this role he had responsibility for over $500 million in sales with multiple domestic and international manufacturing facilities. Mitts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
