Joseph Federico Announces 2014/2015 Renewal of NJ MET, Inc.’s ITAR Registration
Clifton, NJ (PRWEB) July 09, 2014 -- Joseph Federico, NJ MET VP and Director of Operations, announced that NJ MET, Inc., has renewed its registration statement with the Compliance and Registration Division of The Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance. “This registration process included the renewal of our International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR) registration for 2014/2015,” said Joseph Federico at NJ MET’s Clifton, NJ headquarters.
“We are honored to continue to empower NJ MET senior officials to sign the registration statement and transmission letters under code: M18392,” he continued.
ITAR Section 122.5 requires companies such as NJ MET, Inc. to maintain records concerning the registration, manufacturing, acquisition, and disposition of defense articles; the provision of defense services; and information on political contributions, fees or commissions furnished or obtained as required by ITAR Part 130. These records must be available at all times for inspection and copying. To maintain these records, managers, supervisors and employees need appropriate training on AECA and ITAR requirements and understand the individual and organizational ramifications for failure to comply.
Furthermore, with this registration, NJ MET continues to assist its international customers, enabling them to avoid US import and export procedural delays and to expedite all orders.
