Lawyer and well-respected emerging business consultant, Raees Mohamed, has joined the Kelly / Warner law firm.
Business Experience and Legal Education
In 2003, after earning his bachelor’s degree in business management from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, Raees founded a successful consultancy where he brokered several multi-million dollar deals for both established businesses and startups.
Eager to pursue further professional development, in 2006, Raees headed back to school – the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. An active and accomplished student, Raees held prestigious internships and won both the Pedrick and Berch Scholar Awards, in addition to the Maricopa County Bar Association Scholarship Award, the East Valley Bar Association Scholarship Award and the Minority Bar Association Scholarship Award.
In 2009, Raees earned his J.D. and Certificate in Law, Science, and Technology, with Pro Bono Distinction.
Legal Focus: Startup and Emerging Business Consultation and Litigation
Counseling entrepreneurs and tech-startups, corporate strategy, and commercial disputes are Mohamed’s fortes. As a consultant, Raees gave startups and small businesses the expert advice they needed to go from broke to bank. During that time, he spearheaded several transcontinental marketing roll-outs and brokered multi-million dollar restructuring deals.
Immediately after becoming licensed, Raees founded a sole legal practice – and in two short years became a shareholder of a boutique Phoenix business law firm. Impressively, Raees has counseled and provided legal support to over 350 entrepreneurs and emerging businesses.
“The firm is excited to have Raees to continue building our Corporate, Start-up and Entrepreneurship Practice Group. In addition to our defamation practice, we’ve always had a strong business and Internet law division. Since we’re growing, it was time to bring in someone with a rock solid business law background, who also knew the tech landscape. Raees was the perfect choice,” praised Kelly / Warner founding partner, Aaron Kelly.
In his new position at Kelly / Warner Law, Raees Mohamed’s main focus will be entrepreneurs and companies engaged in rapid commercialization ventures. He’ll be providing counsel in the areas of:
