Sierra Aluminum Co. of Fontana, California has selected Granco-Clark’s handling equipment for the new press which includes a cut-on-the-fly double puller, high velocity cooling ducts, stretcher, a complete belt/conveyor system, as well as, a billet furnace and age oven.
The 2,500 ton single-action short stroke extrusion press (UBE), will be installed in Sierra's newest building in Fontana, California once the reconfiguration is complete.
