Focus on the Coast Welcomes Men, Ink., Expanding Content and Reach
(PRWEB) July 09, 2014 -- It’s a match made in publishing heaven. Focus on the Coast, Wilmington’s leading coastal lifestyle magazine, and Men, Ink. (MI), the region’s only men’s magazine, have formed a strategic partnership to give readers, advertisers, and event-goers alike, additional content through a special Focus on the Coast men’s section.
“We’re very excited about this partnership,” said Laurel Maultsby, owner and publisher of Focus on the Coast, one of Wilmington’s most successful and longest running publications. “Our readers and advertisers have asked for more men’s lifestyle content and perspective, and we’re pleased to be able to provide it through the unique voice of Men, Ink.”
A Wilmington resident, Maultsby, started Focus on the Coast in 2000 and distributes 10,000 copies throughout New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties per month. With the magazines new tagline release, “Inspiring you to love where you live,” Focus on the Coast continues to feature articles and photography on art and culture, food and wine, style and beauty, and coastal living.
Debuting in March 2012 and inspired by local resident David W. Frederiksen, Men, Ink. is a quarterly men’s lifestyle magazine exploring all dimensions of manhood, while encouraging men everywhere to "Be a Better Man."

This partnership means a special section within Focus on the Coast, which publishes monthly. The special section will also promote Men, Ink.’s annual events platform, including its most recent MI’s Pints for Prostates 10K and annual Hecathlon.
