Next Goodman explains the minor pentatonic scale in the key of Em (E minor) as follows; 12th fret of the 6th string with first finger to the 15th fret with 4th finger. 12th fret of the 5th string with first finger to the 14th fret with 3rd finger and repeat that sequence on the 4th and 3rd strings. 12th fret of the 2nd string with first finger to the 15th fret with 4th finger and repeat that sequence on the first string. Next Darrin explains how to perform the lick as follows; 15th fret of the first string with 4th finger and do a pull-off to the 12th fret with first finger to the 15th fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger and then back to the 12th fret of the first string and then back to the 15th fret of the 2nd string to the 12th fret with first finger. This lick continues by playing this same sequence based on the 2nd and 3rd strings and then the 3rd and 4th strings and then the 4th and 5th strings and finally the 5th and 6th strings.
