Frederick, Maryland (PRWEB) July 12, 2014
PackagingOfTheWorld.com, a prominent packaging design website showcasing the most interesting and creative packaging work worldwide, recently featured two campaigns from Jean Peterson Design—the Catoctin Breeze Vineyard Composer wine labels series and the Catoctin Breeze Vineyard Reserve Butterfly wine labels series.
The labels were created in conjunction with Catoctin Breeze Vineyard, a Thurmont, Maryland-based winery. Both series are winners of multiple awards, including Gold 2014 ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation-Greater Frederick and 2014 American Package Design Awards from Graphic Design USA.
“Creating the Catoctin Breeze Vineyard wine label series has been a true joy. We understand how important the label is to each wine, as it tells the story behind the grapes, the vineyard, and the winemaker. We are already hard at work on label concepts for Catoctin Breeze Vineyard’s new varietals and vintages,” says Jean Peterson, principal of Jean Peterson Design.
The Composer wine label series, created for Catoctin Breeze Vineyard's line of whimsical and easy drinking summer wines, was designed while listening to each renowned composer’s masterpieces. The Butterfly wine label series, designed for the Reserve line of wines, was inspired by the abundance of butterflies that float along the mountain breezes at Catoctin Breeze Vineyard.
