Corona, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2014 -- Michael Van Horenbeeck, an industry-recognized thought leader for Microsoft Exchange and two-time Microsoft MVP is bringing his deep product expertise to ENow Software. Van Horenbeeck will join the Exchange monitoring and reporting leader in September as Product Director of Messaging.
Over the span of the last 12 years, Van Horenbeeck, a Microsoft Certified Master (MCM), has become a well-respected member of the Exchange community. For the past 6 years he established a reputation as an Exchange support expert with the consultancy company Xylos. His blog (“Van Hybrid”) and podcasts are popular and highly regarded in industry circles. His move to ENow represents an opportunity to accelerate the next stage development of its proprietary monitoring tools: Mailscape and Mailscape for Exchange Online.
“Every so often a company is able to add a piece of the corporate puzzle that allows them to move quantum steps ahead. Having Michael onboard will propel our Exchange and Exchange Hybrid monitoring and reporting suites to the next level and provide our customers a significant advantage in Exchange innovation,” said Jay Gundotra, ENow’s founder and CEO.
According to ENow, Van Horenbeeck’s responsibilities will include oversight of the technology roadmap for its on-premise and hybrid versions of Mailscape. Additionally, he will continue as a hands-on consultant for ENow’s customers with Exchange, Office 365 and other related initiatives. Horenbeeck believes that remaining active will allow him to “contribute better on a technical level.”
The addition of Van Horenbeeck, according to Gundotra, allows ENow to stay “true to its roots” as an engineer-driven company founded and continuously innovated by Microsoft engineers and MVPs. As a pioneer in hybrid Exchange technology (first introduced in 2011), ENow’s monitoring and reporting solution, Mailscape, is situated for unprecedented growth and client-centric advancement.
Van Horenbeeck will continue his thought-leadership blog and remain a technology correspondent for such media outlets as SearchExchange and WindowsIT Pro. He will also continue to speak at various tech conferences and regularly contribute to the Unified Communications podcast: “The UC Architects.”
“I’m excited about this new adventure as it allows me to combine the things I love to do along with the ability to contribute to a great piece of software,” Van Horenbeeck added.
