Discount tickets to Queen and Adam Lambert’s Summer Tour have rocked to the top of trending concert sales queues nationwide, according to Marta Ault at The classic 1970’s British rockers with Lambert as front man opened their tour in June and hit Auburn Hills, Orillia, Toronto, Montreal, Philly, New York, Uncasville, Columbia, Boston, East Rutherford and Atlantic City after performing at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas tonight July 10, 2014.

Iconic British rock band Queen with Adam Lambert as front man hit Auburn Hills, Orillia, Toronto, Montreal, Philly, New York, Uncasville, Boston and Atlantic City playing Dallas tonight.

No question about it, Queen definitely rules. They have the most popular track on the planet called “We Are the Champions". In fact, in 2009, that cut and their “We Will Rock You” were both inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, with “We Are The Champions” voted the world’s most favorite song in a global music poll.

As one of the best-selling musical acts of all time, the band has sold over 150 albums worldwide including 18 Number One albums, 18 Number One singles, and ten Number One DVDs.

Truth be told, ever since their first hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” in 1976, iconic British rock band Queen has done anything but bite the dust. As of 2005, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, Queen albums have spent a total of 1,322 weeks (26 years) on the UK Album Charts, more time than any other musical act.

And now, like they have in the past, original band members Roger Taylor and Brian May are teaming up with Adam Lambert for this year’s summer Tour. Queen performed with Lambert on American Idol in 2009, at the MTV European Music Awards in 2011, on a European tour in 2012 and at last year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

“Since taking the runner-up spot in the eighth series of American Idol, Adam Lambert has won international acclaim for his rich tenor voice, as well as his theatrical style and on-stage showmanship. But he admits following in the footsteps of Queen band founder Freddie Mercury – regarded by many as the greatest rock band front-man – has not been easy,” said Marta Ault at online ticket marketplace

“The tour has played to sold out crowds since it opened in June. That’s why we’re proud to be able to offer fans the most complete and continuously refreshed selection of discount tickets online, with a Worry-Free Guarantee to protect their purchase,” added Ault.

“To access the full line-up of cheap Queen and Adam Lambert tickets we have available, as well as all of the other seating options at each venue, fans can go to and search for Queen and Adam Lambert – then select their tickets.”

After forming in 1970, Queen’s 1977 album, News of the World, contained two of rock's most recognizable anthems, "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions". By the early 1980s, Queen was known as one of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world, and their performance at 1985's Live Aid was voted best live act in history by an industry poll in 2005.

In 1991, founder and front man Freddie Mercury died of bronchopneumonia, a complication of AIDS. John Deacon, the other original member, retired in 1997. Since then, May and Taylor infrequently performed together, including a collaboration with Paul Rodgers under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers which ended in May 2009.

Earlier in 2002, Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" was also voted "the UK's favourite hit of all time” in a poll conducted by the Guinness World Records British Hit Singles Book, and in 2004 the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2007, they were also voted the greatest British band in history by BBC Radio 2 listeners. (Source:

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, the band is also the only group in which every member has composed more than one chart-topping single, and all four members of Queen were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003.
