Invitation Homes Today Announced the Latest in a Series of High-Level Hires
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 10, 2014 -- The Company announced today that Denise Dunckel has joined the company as Senior Vice President of External Affairs. Dunckel will be based out of the Invitation Homes headquarters in Dallas, Texas and will be responsible for leading communications and government affairs and supporting community affairs. Dunckel comes to Invitation Homes with an extensive background in communications and government relations in both the housing policy and financial services industries.

Prior to joining Invitation Homes, Dunckel was Senior Associate Director for Congressional Affairs and Communications for the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), an independent regulatory agency responsible for the oversight of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Home Loan Bank system. At FHFA Dunckel served as a key advisor to the Director of FHFA and managed the strategy and operations for the Agency’s communications, public affairs, industry and congressional relations.
Dunckel joined FHFA from Visa, Inc. where she served in their Washington DC office as a Senior Business Leader for Corporate Affairs. Prior to Visa Dunckel was Deputy Assistant Secretary of Education for External Affairs at the U.S. Department of Education and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Dunckel also served in the White House from 2002 to 2005.
Dunckel holds a BS from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
