Premier Plastics Celebrates 25 Years of Thriving Business
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) July 10, 2014 -- 2014 marks the 25th year of continued service and exponential growth for Premier Plastics. CEO, Jim Holbrook, started the company with just one machine. The first year, Premier Plastics ordered 10,000 pounds of plastic. Throughout the years, Premier Plastics expanded its operations and customer base to include further services and increased technology. In 2014, the company ordered 3.5 million pounds of plastic. To put this number into perspective, the increase is more than 3,000%. In addition, Premier Plastics recently acquired a high-tech 3D printing machine. The machine allows Premier Plastics to test a design’s form and functionality before going into final production. The time and cost savings that result from the ability to test designs beforehand are monumental.
The success of Premier Plastics is a result of forward thinking and the ability to understand changing industry trends. “A company lasts over time by continuing to innovate and reinvent itself,” says Holbrook. “Our talented crew is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to move forward.” The 3D printer is just one of the ways that Premier Plastics has stayed ahead of the curve. Aggressive recycling practices is another way that Premier Plastics has stayed on top of industry developments. “As stewards of the Earth, it's everyone's responsibility to protect our precious resources,” says Holbrook. “In addition, we design and manufacture using methods that reduce the amount of materials needed to create our customers' products.”
To celebrate this monumental achievement, Premier Plastics will hold an event with entertainment and a tour of the facility on July 31, 2014. Holbrook is excited for the opportunity to show his appreciation for Premier Plastics’ employees, customers, and vendors. “Without our incredible team, the customers and the vendors that have supported Premier Plastics throughout the years, we definitely would not be where we are today,” says Holbrook. “It truly is a partnership and everyone involved has played a critical role.” Holbrook also hopes that potential customers will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about Premier Plastics and how it can assist with all of their packaging needs.
