Birmingham, UK (PRWEB UK) 12 July 2014 -- In April this year, Premier Foods reached an agreement with The Gores Group, a private investment firm, to operate their bread business as a stand-alone joint venture, trading as Hovis Limited. This agreement has helped release new investment to upgrade the company’s operational infrastructure and reinvigorate the Hovis brand.
Edenhouse are delighted to announce that they have been selected to run the project to split out the Hovis business from the Premier Foods SAP system. With a target go-live date of September 2014, the contract also includes a Process Improvement project and a three-year SAP support deal. Hovis’ decision to move from a largely offshore support structure to the proven Edenhouse UK based model has been viewed very positively within the Hovis business. This entire programme of work is significantly important in Hovis’ ambitious growth plans and will further strengthen Edenhouse’s reputation in the FMCG sector.
“We are proud to have been selected for this key project,” said Paul Solomon, CEO of Edenhouse. “We are looking forward to working with the team at Hovis to support and develop their IT landscape, helping them realise their planned growth.”
Dominic Howson, IS Director at Hovis commented: “I am delighted that we have reached agreement to separate the Hovis SAP systems from Premier Foods using Edenhouse as our partner. I see Edenhouse as a key part of the Hovis IS structure moving forward.”
