Names of the Goodwin & Scieszka 2014 Innovation Scholarship Winners
(PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- Recently, Goodwin & Scieszka announced that the three winners of the Goodwin & Scieszka 2014 Innovation Scholarship had been chosen and were in the process of being notified. All three winners (one first place winner and two runners-up) have been notified and have accepted their scholarship prizes.
Trevor Lythgow of Hillsboro, Tennessee has been chosen as the first place winner of the Goodwin & Scieszka 2014 Innovation Scholarship for his excellent essay about the intersection of legal marketing and social media. Lythgow’s essay stood out as a prime example of both writing and an inspection of the current state of legal marketing. Lythgow will receive the first place prize of a $1,000 scholarship and will be attending Lipscomb University: Honors College & Institute of Law in Nashville, Tennessee, majoring in law, justice and society, and minoring in physics and engineering.
Laura DiBiase of Marietta, Georgia has been chosen as the first runner-up of the Goodwin & Scieszka 2014 Innovation Scholarship for her essay on the legality of child accountability, a law she believes is outdated and in need of reform. DiBiase will receive a $500 scholarship that will go towards financing an education at a law school of her choice.
Joseph Ruppel of Largo, Florida has been chosen as the second runner-up of the Goodwin & Scieszka 2014 Innovation Scholarship for his essay on the way in which social media has affected legal marketing for lawyers and law firms. Ruppel will receive a $500 scholarship that will go towards financing his education in law.
