Great teen mystery books are the bailiwick of Linda Maria Frank, author of the Annie Tillery Mystery Series. She will be presenting her series for questions, signings and sales at summer fairs. Not only does Frank write the books, but she provides supportive material for them on her website in the form of lesson plans, discussion questions, and forensic science articles she has written. These mystery books are chock full of good plots, forensic science, some interesting historical perspective, and are just pure fun.
The "Madonna Ghost," takes her to Fire Island to solve the mystery of a tragic ghost who is masking a plot that impacts national security. There she meets Ty Egan, with whom she falls in love. Together they narrowly escape death solving the mysteries found on F.I.
In "Girl with Pencil, Drawing," Annie takes art lessons at a gallery in Manhattan, and uncovers a ring of art thieves and forgers who will stop at nothing to save their lucrative trade. Annie and her instructor, Francesca Gabrielli, escape death by fire and water at the hands of the desperate art traffickers.
Annie volunteers at an archaeological dig in Turkey, and embarks on another adventure where she must unravel an ancient mystery and solve “The Secrets in the Fairy Chimneys."
