Carrie Sloan Has Been Named VP, Editorial Director of CafeMom

Carrie has been the Editor in Chief at several digital startups, most recently at LearnVest, an award-winning personal finance site. In her role, she will be leading the editorial strategy for CafeMom, the leading digital media company serving moms with more than 30 million monthly unique visitors across its properties and a social media presence reaching 25 million fans.

Prior to LearnVest, Carrie led the editorial teams at Lemondrop, an AOL women’s lifestyle site with 5 million monthly unique visitors, and YourTango, a love and relationship hub. She began her career as a print editor, on staff at Marie Claire, Seventeen, and Mademoiselle magazines, and her work has appeared in Cosmo, Real Simple, ELLE.com, Budget Travel Martha Stewart Weddings, and the New York Daily News.
