LASIK To Lifeguard: California LASIK Center Stories
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Laser eye surgery can have a profound effect on an individual, opening up new opportunities and improving lives forever. It's not every day that a single procedure can touch more than 1 life, let alone hundreds. A recent patient of ours is proving that by helping 1 person, you can ultimately help many.
Jack Baghumian came to us with a dilemma. It was his life-long dream to become a Los Angeles County Fire Department Ocean Lifeguard. He had applied to perform the swim test to qualify for training, but had found that his 20/80 vision was holding him back.
"I was wearing contacts the whole time. When I received a medical report in the mail from the Fire Department saying that I was ineligible because of my vision, I went to the crew at California Lasik Center."
We recently heard from Jack and were elated to find out where his new vision had taken him. Only a couple months post-surgery Jack had successfully completed training, passed all exams, and had become a certified LA County Fire Department Ocean Lifeguard. Although his dream had come true, the new job title wasn't what Jack was really thankful for.
"I have rescued close to 20 people already; that's 20 people that would have not been so lucky if my surgery hadn't taken place. Every morning I get up seeing better than the day before. I truly believe that however much I paid wasn't enough for what you guys did for me.
The men and women working there took care of me every step of the way, and made me feel as if I was a part of their family. I got to know each one of them on a personal level, and learned to love them as well. They spared no expense on the treatment of my eyes, and took every precaution to ensure the safety of my procedure. I entrusted the experience and expertise of Dr. Schultz and was not disappointed. This would not have happened without the hospitality, care, and professionalism of the California Lasik Center. I am forever in their debt for giving me the gift of perfect vision."
Through a quick procedure at California LASIK Center, Jack has impacted many lives and will continue to do so in the future. We couldn't be more proud to have him as a patient.
