The ZTR Locomotive ELC (Electronic Load Regulator) is a low cost way for switcher locomotives to improve reliability and adhesion. The Locomotive ELC is available in a basic excitation control system as well as ELC-PEO, a Performance Enhance Option featuring horsepower regulation by throttle, tractive effort improvement using adaptive targeting, intelligent sanding control and more.
