Developer of Wi-FAR™ and WSAConnect™ Interoperability Specifications Will Play Major Role at Shared Spectrum Industry Event

The WhiteSpace Alliance (WSA) ®, a global industry organization enabling sharing of underutilized spectrum, today announced it will be the Gold Sponsor for the Super Wi-Fi Summit to be held at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 12-14, 2014.

The Alliance will participate prominently in the Summit exhibit area as well as the workshop agenda. WSA will showcase a variety of real-world whitespace solutions in its exhibit booth, #635. Representatives from member companies such as Adaptrum, AmeriSys, Carlson Wireless, iconectiv, ISBcorp and Texas Instruments will be on hand to discuss their latest radio and spectrum database products. WhiteSpace Alliance experts will also share their technology and business insights as panelists, discussing issues such as spectrum management in the 3.5GHz band; emerging silicon developments; backhaul for small cells using Wi-FAR; LTE unlicensed; evolution of spectrum sharing radio technology; and international whitespace deployments.
