Neal Gerber Eisenberg Attorneys Jenny Kim and Eric Choi Named to Lawyers of Color's 2014 'Hot List'
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP is pleased to announce that Jenny S. Kim and Eric Y. Choi have been named to Lawyers of Color’s Second Annual Hot List, which recognizes achievements by early- to mid-career minority attorneys working as in-house counsel, government attorneys and law firm associates and partners.
The honorees were chosen through a two-pronged process. The selection committee spent months reviewing nominations and researching bar association publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates. Nominations from mentors, peers, and colleagues were accepted. The selection committee also made editorial picks of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, especially those active in legal pipeline initiatives.

Kim, a partner in the General & Commercial Litigation practice group, represents clients in a broad range of complex litigation matters, including contract disputes, common law and consumer fraud claims, insurance coverage, professional liability defense, breach of warranty defense and class action litigation. Kim is a member of Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s Diversity Committee, co-chair of the Hiring Committee, co-chair of the Minority Initiative and Assignment Advisor of the General & Commercial Litigation group.
Choi, an associate in the General & Commercial Litigation practice group, represents clients in complex civil litigation matters, including licensing, compliance with consumer protection laws and insurance coverage matters. Choi is a member of the American Bar Association, Korean American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association, where he is chair of the insurance law committee.
Kim and Choi were honored at a reception in Chicago on July 14 and are profiled in the July 2014 issue of Lawyers of Color.
