Omnipress, provider of educational content solutions for associations, is pleased to introduce its updated online event services. Building on an already-successful product, the Omnipress team has streamlined the look of its sites and simplified the navigation.
“By using visual cues, Omnipress’ new event websites make it simpler for attendees to find their way around and interpret what they see,” says Sean Lawler, Product Director of Digital Services. “For example, icons like clocks and calendars are used to signify time and date; tracks, like professional development or quality control, are color-coded for easier identification and filtering. In order to facilitate faster loading times, not all information is displayed at once. When the user clicks or taps for details, a progress bar appears, signaling how soon the user can expect the information to appear.”
Many features of Omnipress’ event website are not new to this updated version, but are nonetheless valuable to associations and their members. For example, each website built by Omnipress features responsive design, which means it appears appropriately for the device being used to view it. Content on the site is searchable; the website is branded with the association’s and/or the event’s colors and logo.
The website can be integrated with an association’s AMS or registration software to avoid the problems that come with trying to maintain separate databases. Omnipress can build sites that can accommodate whatever level of access control the association wants, including subscription management and eCommerce.
Given these new and existing features, the updated Omnipress event websites are better for both users and association staff. Attendees will enjoy a clean, uncluttered look with easy, intuitive navigation.
