Moore Design Group’s Installation of SageStone Village Brings Urban Sophistication to Hillwood’s Master Plan
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- Award-winning interior design firm Moore Design Group and Hillwood, A Perot Company, are creating luxury apartment communities within the Alliance Town Center master-planned development that embrace the Live Smart principles of community, healthy living, environmental stewardship and technology.
MDG Principle Stephanie Moore-Hager is teaming up with one of the nation’s largest private real estate developers to create memorable, modernized communities in AllianceTexas. Created by H. Ross Perot Jr. 25 years ago, AllianceTexas is now the largest development of this kind in North Texas.
SageStone Village, situated on 13 acres of land within the Alliance Town Center master-planned development, is a 306-unit apartment property that targets residents seeking an urban lifestyle with easy access to shopping, entertainment, recreation, dining and healthcare services. SageStone Village completed in April 2014 and SageStone Village II is currently under construction.
Upon entering the leasing office and amenity areas at SageStone, visitors are greeted with the sophisticated ambiance of a boutique hotel. The concierge/leasing desk evokes an urban energy while a chic café/latte bar with multiple plasma screens defines the social space.
“Stephanie and her team have a unique talent to bring disparate elements of artwork, furnishings and finishes into a cohesive finished product that merges design elements to achieve the vision for the community and the individual space,” Mark McHenry, Vice President of Multifamily for Hillwood, said.
MDG and Hillwood’s collaboration on SageStone Village I and II follows the success of their first multifamily venture together, Monterra Village, noted as the first 100-percent, smoke-free luxury apartment home community in North Texas. While Sagestone Village was designed to appeal to the urban pioneer, Monterra Village offers a neighborhood setting surrounded by permanent open space.
MDG designed the expansive leasing and amenity center with sustainable woods, warm tones and textures to create a modern, rustic space with a sophisticated ranch-style ambiance.
“Purposeful texture, color and tactile surfaces were specifically designed with our client’s project intentions in mind. Our spaces are exceptionally inviting,” Hager said. “We provide a balanced mix of functional practical forms – it’s about mixing not matching.”
Over the next decade, Hillwood plans to develop more than 3,000 units total at AllianceTexas to meet the increasing housing demand in North Texas, promising a long-term venture with Moore Design Group, who will be commissioned for the multifamily designs.
“Working with Stephanie and her team is always a pleasure. Stephanie’s commitment to quality and service and her collaborative team approach is a perfect match for our culture at Hillwood,” McHenry said. “Stephanie has a talented eye for color and style in her designs, and she is constantly looking to stay current with emerging trends in the multifamily industry that drive our amenity space programming and office space planning and design.”
