Indian Wells, CA (PRWEB) July 17, 2014

The Indian Wells Arts Festival celebrates its 13th year at a premier venue located in Indian Wells, in the heart of the Southern California - Palm Springs Desert Resorts Communities. This outdoor judged and juried art show will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 3 - 5, 2015, on the grass plaza of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden – home of the televised BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament.

Accepted artists will be provided the promotional opportunity to meet with an audience of serious buyers and collectors. Primary jury deadline is October 14, 2014; and 60 spaces are held for the secondary jury’s January 6, 2015 deadline. In total, 200 artists will be accepted.

The Indian Wells Arts Festival is open to all media artists and showcases a wide variety of contemporary and traditional fine art and high quality craft selected by the jury in categories including painting, drawing, ceramics, weaving, sculpture, jewelry, glass, photography, and original hand-crafted wares. Artists are required to be in attendance daily to explain or demonstrate the techniques that created original pieces of artwork which are available for purchase.

With both an aggressive online and traditional marketing campaign, professional experience, and a strong reputation, the Indian Wells Arts Festival seeks out and brings together a wide variety of high quality artists to delight our audience of residents and tourists alike. Over 10,000 attendance and $750,000 in reported art sales in 2014, the Festival incorporates a number of local charities as Festival Partners and donates to their art scholarship funds

The creative synergy of demonstrating artists (Larger-Than-Life Mural painting, glass blowing, monumental rock sculpture, weaving, pottery), local sponsors and non-profit partners enhance the venue with vibrant activity. The artisan village environment includes the 2nd Annual ObjetTrouvé Found Art Festival, children’s activities, community participatory projects, wine and cocktails, live musical entertainment, and refreshment add to the festive activities that are ongoing throughout the day.
