McCormick has more than 10 years of experience in highly regulated and heavily compliance based industries. She has an extensive background in retail banking, compliance education, and management and also has a vast knowledge of consumer and business operations, lending operations, sales, auditing, and risk management.
McCormick’s most recent role was for Synovus Bank, focusing on consumer inquires, account and loan research, and regulatory education. She previously worked for JPMorgan Chase, serving as Assistant Branch Manager. While at JPMorgan Chase, McCormick organized and assisted in the relocation of three branches and the opening of two newly built branches, as well as the acquisition of Washington Mutual. At JPMorgan Chase, she also mentored and educated staff within the district in regard to sales and operational controls. She also developed and implemented a process to minimize risk, decrease losses, increase profits, and maintain compliance standards.
