The first lick I want to show you is out of the B pentatonic.

(PRWEB) July 14, 2014

“The first lick I want to show you is out of the B pentatonic”, says Johnson. Claude demonstrates this easy lead guitar lick as follows; 10th fret of the 2nd string with first finger and do a hammer-on to the 13th fret with 3rd finger and then the 10th of the first string with first finger and then a hammer-on to the 14th fret with 4th finger. “That interval skip gives it a nice sound”, says Johnson. Claude continues this easy lick by descending from the 14th fret of the first string to the 12th fret with 2nd finger to the 10th fret with first finger to the 14th fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger and then back to the 12th fret of the first string with 2nd finger to the 10th fret with first finger to the 14th fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger to the 12th fret with 2nd finger to the 10th fret of the first string with first finger to the 14th fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger to the 12th fret with 2nd finger and finally ending on the 10th fret with first finger. “The key to the speed of this lick is cross picking the descending part”, says Johnson. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy lead guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
