Stay Metrics Reports Carriers’ Q1 Driver Turnover at 53% Compared to Industry's 78%
South Bend, IN (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- Stay Metrics recently reported driver turnover of carriers on its platform for Q1 of 2014. Turnover for Stay Metrics’ clients came in at 53% compared to the industry’s 78% mark as reported by the American Trucking Association. Carriers with Stay Metrics also showed a 4% improvement quarter-over-quarter compared to a 1% improvement reported by their peers.
CEO of Stay Metrics, Tim Hindes, commented that he is proud of the carriers in their network for their commitment to improving the level of driver satisfaction. Hindes confirmed that the profile of carriers most interested in his platform are carriers that already have ‘pretty good’ driver retention as illustrated in the ‘before and after’ chart, but simply want to do more for their drivers. He believed the majority of the improvement last quarter came from carriers being able to move the needle on the 6-month churn issue. He also noted that he is aware of several carriers that began using data to significantly modify their recruiting and orientation process.
