Automotive Thought Leader Micah Birkholz Joins Dealer Authority as Director of Dealer Relations

Micah Birkholz, who spent a decade on the retail side of the automotive industry before moving to the vendor side, brings his unique brand of consultative and analytical marketing experience to digital marketing firm Dealer Authority.

The most important quality that Micah brings to the table is an unrelenting, unquestionable thirst for helping car dealers succeed.

Automotive digital marketing firm Dealer Authority has hired Micah Birkholz as their new Director of Dealer Relations. Birkholz brings experience on both the retail and vendor side of the car business to the team and will be assuming a role within the company that will maximize these qualities.

Shortly after leaving the dealership world in 2007, he joined Carsoup as an account executive. This led to a three+ year tenure at Cobalt as a Performance Improvement Consultant where he helped dealers succeed in everything from social media and reputation management to website improvement and search marketing.

After two short stints at automotive advertising firms, he founded 1:16 Digital Media, a company dedicated to partnering with dealers in order to help them find success. It was in this role that he sparked the interest of Dealer Authority founder JD Rucker.

Birkholz will be taking on a hybrid approach to marketing for his Dealer Authority clients. Rather than simply fulfilling their needs in social media marketing and search engine optimization, he will be bringing a holistic approach that will help dealers to see the complete picture for their entire digital presence. The Director level position will still allow him to be hands-on with his clients.
