Oakland Mayoral Candidates and Cocktails at Oakland Marriott City Center’s Twelve Bar
Oakland, CA (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- “Candidates and Cocktails” kicks off the Local Celebrity Bartender series in Twelve Bar at the Oakland Marriott City Center Hotel this week. Five mayoral candidates have been confirmed to appear as celebrity bartenders during Happy Hour from 5 to 7pm over the next six weeks. Not only will the candidates have a chance to showcase their bartending skills and convey their platforms in a social environment, but part of the proceeds made from each event will be donated by the Oakland Marriott to the Alameda County Food Bank. Guests will also have the chance to donate online in their candidate’s name. The campaign is heating up with the election coming in November, and this is great opportunity for Oakland locals to come out and hear what these candidates’ views and their plans for the city of Oakland. A schedule of dates by candidate is listed below. After the candidates are done, Twelve Bar will continue its local celebrity bartender series with other popular figures in the community.
