For more than 15 years, Coastal Living has built lavish project homes. In 2014, Time Inc.’s popular brand dedicated to life along the coast is ready to unveil its first Showhouse in California – and it’s nothing short of luxurious. The $7 million, 4,500-square foot oceanview home located on Sunset Park in Coronado, CA has four bedrooms and features a number of amenities, including a pool, spa, media room, underground garage – as well as beautiful, thoughtfully designed faucets and accessories from Moen. The leading plumbing manufacturer is pleased to be a sponsor of the Coastal Living Showhouse for the second year in a row. The house is open to the public from July 16, 2014 through September 28, 2014.

Coronado, also known as Coronado Island, is located in San Diego County, just north of the Mexican border. It is a resort city, resting across the bay from downtown San Diego on a peninsula. It’s the perfect setting for a brand new home as Coronado Beach was ranked in 2012 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, Director of the Laboratory for Costal Research, as the best beach in the United States.
The all-star design team behind this year’s Coastal Living Showhouse includes Dorian Lytle, head Architect of Flagg Costal Homes, the building division of Flagship Properties, Landscape Architect Frank Marczynski, and Interior Designers Betsy Burnham and Max Humphrey of Burnham Design. The home was built to withstand the harsh coastal environment of a beach community.
Moen products are featured throughout the home. The kitchen has a refreshed, modern look with the sleek, simple lines of the AlignTM one-handle, high-arc pulldown faucet. The Showhouse is expected to draw as many as 15,000 visitors from across the country. Tickets are $25 per person with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the U.S. Navy SEAL Foundation (Coronado is the home of the U.S. Navy Seals). Tickets are available for purchase online.
