Austin CPA Honored by Statewide Organization
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 21, 2014 -- The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored Austin professional Penny Dear, CPA, with the organization’s Honorary Fellow Award.
The Honorary Fellow Award is bestowed on a TSCPA member who has distinguished himself/herself within the accounting profession as well as the community. Dear received her Texas CPA license in 1982 and has been a dedicated contributor to the profession since then. She has served the organization by volunteering in several roles, including a term as Austin Chapter president, nearly 17 years on the TSCPA Board of Directors, a three-year term on the Executive Board, and roles on more than 10 TSCPA committees. Dear is a recognized leader with a special dedication to the governmental affairs of TSCPA and representing the interests of Texas CPAs.
