Town of Nederland announced today that it is has joined the Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group, a BidNet e-procurement system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local government bids.

Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group connects 1,608 departments from 108 local government agencies and provides a bid notification system that gives vendors instant access to Bids, RFP's, Quotes and Amendments online. Town of Nederland joined the Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group in July, providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for Town of Nederland and all other participating agencies on the system.

The network was developed and is powered by BidNet, an Albany, N.Y. company that manages 15 government purchasing groups nationwide through its e-procurement solution.

Vendors who provide goods and services can register for the system to receive bid opportunities from Town of Nederland and the system’s other local agencies. Vendors register online at http://www.RockyMountainBidSystem.com.
