Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Launches New Online Water Rescue First Responder Course
Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- The Pennsylvania Boat Commission’s "Water Rescue for the First Responder - NFPA 1670 Awareness Level” course is now available online.
Both the online and classroom versions of the "Water Rescue for the First Responder - NFPA 1670 Awareness Level” provide individuals with information on: scene assessment, activation of the Emergency Response System, evaluation of potential and existing water hazards, scene management, rescue vs. recovery, and personal safety measures. The course meets the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1670 awareness level standards. Students receive the same certificate for successful completion of either course and can print out their certificates immediately upon completion of the online course.
