Healthline Systems’ Clients Honored Among Most Wired for 2014
San Diego, California (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- Hospitals & Health Networks’ 16th annual Most Wired survey was conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks in partnership with the American Hospital Association, AT&T, CareTech Solutions, The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, and McKesson. The Most Wired list recognizes hospitals for successful health information technology planning and implementation, and evaluates hospitals in four focus areas: business and administrative management; clinical integration; clinical quality and safety; and infrastructure.
Rich Umbdenstock, President and CEO of the American Hospital Association, commented: “The Most Wired data show that shared health information allows clinicians and patients to have the information they need to promote health and make the most informed decisions about treatments.” He added, “Hospitals, their clinicians and their communities are doing tremendous work to enhance their IT systems in ways that support care and delivery improvement and patient engagement goals.”
Six of twenty (or 30%) of Most Wired Advanced Hospitals and five of sixteen (over 31%) of California’s Most Wired Hospitals deploy one or more software solutions from HealthLine Systems. Of the 375 healthcare providers across the United States honored as Most Wired Hospitals for 2014, seventy-one (nearly 19%) enjoy the advantages of HealthLine Systems’ software.
HealthLine Systems’ CEO Dan Littrell remarked: “We are proud of our clients whose organizations are honored as 2014 Most Wired Hospitals. Our software solutions help clients create a single, dependable source of truth for provider data; streamline access to care; coordinate transitions of care; and improve the health of the populations they serve.”
In addition to Most Wired recognition, HealthLine Systems’ clients are consistently honored by organizations including HealthGrades, U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health, and Becker’s Hospital Review.
