This is an excellent opportunity for Zerga and Montgomery to join with a world-class general contractor and excel in the assisted living, memory care and independent living arena.
Richardson, TX (PRWEB) July 16, 2014
On Tuesday, July 15, Adolfson & Peterson (A&P) received a permit to commence construction on a new senior living facility in St. Augustine, FL, located near the intersection of Lightsey Rd and SR 207.
Developed by a joint venture of Montgomery Land Company and Zerga Development, the new facility will include a 33 acre master planned development consisting of a 120-unit, multi-story assisted living/memory care facility with the capacity to serve 138 residents.
Construction momentum will be building over the coming months as the site will be cleared and readied for foundations to be set. Construction is expected to peak during December 2014 with approximately 185 construction professionals.
“Zerga Companies is excited about teaming up with A&P and Montgomery Land Company to develop and operate the St. Augustine facility,” said Jerry Green, CEO of Zerga. “Our Partner, Mitch Montgomery, a prominent local land Developer, has worked for years to acquire and entitle the site for a premier Seniors Campus including a second phase Independent Living facility and, later, a Skilled Nursing facility. It has been a pleasure working with the professionals at Adolfson & Peterson Construction as well as a feeling of comfort while entering a new market for Zerga.”
“I am thrilled to be associated with these companies and the long-term experience they bring to the table,” said Mitchell Montgomery, President of Montgomery Land Company. “Their development and management experience, as well as their excellent financial track record, blends well with my development expertise and business relationships that I have built over many years in the Florida marketplace. This is an excellent opportunity for Zerga and Montgomery to join with a world-class general contractor and excel in the assisted living, memory care and independent living arena.”
“A&P is pleased to partner with Zerga and Montgomery Land Company on this important project which will provide a new higher level of service for the Assisted Living and Memory Care Community of North Florida,” said Corbett Nichter, Sr. Vice President with Adolfson & Peterson.
The project is scheduled for completion during the 3rd quarter of 2015.
