20th Anniversary SolarFest Event to Be Held July 18-20 at Forget-Me-Not Farm, Tinmouth, VT

It’s always a great opportunity to get out and visit with our Installer and DIY customers face to face during an event like SolarFest.

altE, a leading distributor of solar panels and solar power products, is pleased to announce their participation at SolarFest 2014, July 18, 19 and 20 in Tinmouth, VT.

This event draws in those interested in solar and renewable energy technologies and sustainable living. SolarFest’s non-profit mission statement gives this description: “SolarFest connects people, the arts, ideas and technology, fostering partnerships to create a vibrant present and a sustainable future.”

At this three day event, along with the entertainment, mini maker faire and family friendly activities, there will also be a full line-up of educational workshops instructed by experts in their field.

altE’s own Solar Queen, Amy Beaudet, will be presenting two workshops on Saturday, July 19th; Intro to Solar Electric Systems and Designing Solar Electric Systems. Amy has been selling alternative energy products at the altE Store for over 6 years. She has taught both solar electric and solar thermal classes at numerous events. She has designed and sold solar systems for every continent on the planet.

“Last year was a fun weekend and tremendous success for us. We are pleased to attend the 20th anniversary of SolarFest and continue to help contribute to the growth of this fantastic event,” said Rocky White, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at altE. “It’s always a great opportunity to get out and visit with our Installer and DIY customers face to face during an event like SolarFest.
