Portland, OR (PRWEB) July 17, 2014
Neil Kelly Company, dedicated to high-quality, sustainable residential design and remodeling, is proud to announce that designer Suzie Atkin was selected to Professional Remodeler Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” class of 2014.
Suzie began as a design assistant at Neil Kelly Company seven years ago. Since then she has broadened her role to become one of the most successful design consultants at Neil Kelly, one of the top 10 design/build/remodeling firms in the country.
“Suzie is creative, a good listener, and one of the hardest-working, client-focused designers on our team,” said Randy Hudson, VP of Sales for Neil Kelly. “It’s no wonder many of her projects have won awards and been published. Any homeowner would be fortunate to have Suzie Atkin design their project.”
Professional Remodeler’s 2014 class was chosen from more than 100 nominees from around the country and is noteworthy for its members’ superior skills and its commitment to service in professional societies and philanthropic organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity.
“What I enjoy the most is listening to my clients’ vision for their home, and asking questions to determine how I can reflect that through creative design,” said Suzie Atkin. “I’m honored to be recognized by Professional Remodeler and feel very fortunate to be in a career I love.”

About Suzie Atkin
Suzie Atkin has been a designer in the Kitchen and Bath Industry since 2003 after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Her career started in Montana, where she became the lead designer for a small kitchen and bath firm, winning numerous awards for her designs. Since joining Neil Kelly in 2007, Suzie has continued to produce meticulous award winning design, most notably winning a National CoTY Award in 2010. Her commitment to her craft and her clients has led her to be published in numerous magazines, including: Portrait of Portland and Oregon Home Magazine. Suzie has a unique ability to understand and interpret her clients’ needs and style, which has allowed her to produce projects from contemporary to historical, and variations in between.
When not designing (which isn’t often), Suzie spends her time enjoying the reasons she came to the Pacific NW in the first place: snowboarding, cycling, hiking and appreciating our beautiful natural surroundings.
