New York, NY (PRWEB) July 17, 2014
Second Alpha Partners (http://www.secondalpha.com), a private equity firm focused on secondary investments in mature venture-stage, growth equity and middle market tech companies, today officially announced that it has moved its main Manhattan location into expanded office space to support its increased activities and growing team.
Second Alpha’s new offices are located in the historic Holland House office building, a fixture of the emerging tech enclave in New York City’s vibrant NoMad business corridor north of Madison Square Park. “Larger offices were required by the growth in our firm’s investment and portfolio development activities,” said Second Alpha Managing Partner Richard Brekka. “The fact that our new offices bring us closer to so many of New York’s highest profile technology, media and communications companies is a great bonus.”
Second Alpha also announced that Case Carpenter has joined the firm. Previously, Case was in the Secondary Advisory Group of Houlihan Lokey, where he worked on a variety of transactions including hedge fund recapitalizations and the sale of portfolios of private equity secondaries, hedge fund secondaries and insurance derivatives.
“Case brings energy, valuable analytical skills, and a seasoned perspective to Second Alpha at a time of great activity, “ remarked Jim Sanger, Managing Partner. “We look forward to his making valuable contributions to the firm’s growth.”
The address for Second Alpha’s new Manhattan office is:
276 Fifth Avenue, Suite 901
New York, NY 10001
