Author Kelly Renee Vizzini was born and raised in Salix, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1987. From 1987-1999, she lived in Marietta, Georgia where she worked at Southern Polytechnic State University. In Dec. 1999, she moved to Glendale, Arizona and worked at Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2000 to 2013.
