HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, today announced it has hired Ryan Hennessy to the position of Sales and Marketing Representative for the company. HIPOWER SYSTEMS selected Hennessy from a field of candidates based upon his demonstrated record of sales growth and commitment to customer service.

Hennessy graduated from Missouri State University in 2011 and since that time has exhibited not only a strong aptitude for sales and service but also a keen appreciation for quality and technological excellence. Most recently, he was a Customer Service and Sales Associate for power generation equipment provider Milbank (Kansas City, Mo.). There, he grew sales in the West and South territories by 25% and 28% respectively and sold 100% of the initial stock for a new product the firm launched.

Prior to his time with Milbank, Hennessy was a Manufacturer’s Representative for C&O Electric Sales Company (Kansas City, Mo.), where he helped distributors leverage the power of consolidated special pricing agreements. He also worked on quality and service initiatives and helped the firm modernize its inventory system.
