LearningMate Appoints Industry Veteran, Brian Hyland, as Program Director for the Company’s Content Services Group
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 18, 2014 -- LearningMate Solutions, the world’s leading supplier of content and technology solutions for the education market, announced today the addition of Brian Hyland as Program Director for the company’s Content Services Group.
This move is part of an ongoing strategic organizational push as the company repositions itself from vendor to partner.
“Our customers are asking us to help build a vision around their products and bring that vision to life,” said Prasad Mohare, Vice President, Publishing. “We knew we needed to add an additional layer of capability to our organization to sustain our current pace of growth. We wanted someone who has been a publisher, thinks like a publisher and has been successful at converting products into programs. Brian has a track record of successful contributions to new product initiatives in our industry. He’s a natural choice and we are excited to have him join the team.”
As Program Director, Brian will help publishers define and develop strategic content roadmaps, introduce best-in-class products and work hand-in-hand with publishers to expand these into programs.
“With many of our clients still in the early stages of their digital transition, we feel it is important to staff our team with those who have walked in their shoes—who have faced the same challenges and emerged with stronger processes and solutions to move forward in the creation of innovative, effective digital learning products and programs.” Mohare said. “Brian is an excellent resource to our publishing partners as well as our team as we continue to grow and expand our content development services.”
With more than 16 years experience strategizing, developing and managing digital learning products, Brian is no stranger to the educational market and the demands and idiosyncrasies of content development. He served on various teams across Pearson Education developing award-winning learning products and programs as well as streamlining workflows to increase efficiencies and cost savings on the company’s digital products. In addition, he has helped create standards processes and procedure documentations as well as develop best practices to assist in digital team training.
Brian graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY with a B.A. in History. He also holds an NYS Teaching Certification in Social Studies.
