Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2014
Beachside Nursing Center's administrator Taylor Florence, along with three doctors, hit the green on Friday, June 27th, to sponsor the Huntington Beach Council on Aging (HBCOA) for their 22nd annual “On Course” golf tournament at the Meadowlark Country Club in Huntington Beach. The golf tournament proceeds support seniors, low income seniors, and their families through the services and programs that are offered at the Michael E. Rodgers Seniors’ Center and the Huntington Beach Seniors’ Outreach Center.
“Beachside is proud to sponsor the Huntington Beach Council on Aging at their 22nd Annual Golf Tournament,” said Florence. “For years, Beachside has served the senior residents of Huntington Beach through providing the highest quality post-acute nursing and rehabilitation services that the Beach Cities have to offer. We will continue to serve HBCOA and all the seniors of Huntington Beach for years and years to come.”
The five-star Medicare-rated healthcare facility caters to seniors ages 65 and above who are recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Beachside has enjoyed being a prominent member of the Huntington Beach Senior Community and was recently recognized by US News and World Report as a Best Nursing Home. Raising awareness for the senior community and being a part of the annual HBCOA tournament is something that Beachside looks forward to every year.
“The HBCOA Golf Tournament was a tremendous success. Thank you to all of our golfers, our wonderful volunteers, and especially our sponsors. Without each of you, we wouldn’t be able to support our Huntington Beach Seniors,” said Cathy Meschuk, HBCOA President.
