Eliot Management Group is pleased to announce the addition of a split ticket feature to the restaurant package of its 1st PayPOS point of sale system.

“Restaurant owners and customers love the split ticket feature because it allows them to divide the entire bill, or even individual items, between patrons,” explains Tony Norrie, President of Eliot Management Group. “Customers often want to split tickets so having this feature is a real benefit to restaurants.”

The 1st Pay’s split ticket feature will allow servers to identify diners by guest number and/or seat number, and even enter a description of the diner. Entire tickets can be split between the whole table or specific diners. Servers can also split individual items between two or more tickets.

Enabling split tickets options is simple and completed through the 1st Pay’s user friendly portal. Options include prompting servers to set up tables by guest, seat number or description, allow split tickets, as wells as several bill generating options.

The 1st PayPOS was introduced in December of 2013, and has already offered several added features. It comes with everything a merchant needs to manage all aspects of their business. An iPad, cash drawer and printer are all included, and an available scanner makes check out even more efficient.

An intuitive interface makes it easy to set up and navigate. Merchants can upload and manage inventory; set modifiers, discounts and user permissions; and see their employees’ sales activities. A time clock feature allows employees to clock in and out, regardless of their access to the POS functions, and managers can track employee time. Processing payments is simple and secure, and customers have the option of a printed or emailed receipt. A built in loyalty program makes it easy to offer loyalty rewards. Gift cards can be sold, redeemed, reloaded and tracked with ease, and detailed real time analytics make it easy for business owners to see the state of their business and make informed decisions. The system’s dashboard can be accessed from anywhere, allowing business owners to work when and where it is convenient for them.
