Beaumont CPA Honored by Statewide Organization
(PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored Beaumont certified public accountant Nathan H. Cross with the organization’s Distinguished Public Service Award.
The award for distinguished public service is given for outstanding charitable, community and civic activities, and other public service not related to TSCPA. Cross is dedicated to service to his profession, his community, and his country. He is a veteran of the United States Army, serving in active duty and as a reservist. He has held several positions in TSCPA and his chapter, including serving as Southeast Texas Chapter president. Beyond his work for his profession, Cross has served on the boards of the Beaumont Firemen’s Relief and Retirement Fund, the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, and other various professional, charitable, and civic organizations.
